Sacred Heritage

Come join us in the beautiful Museum of Art on the Brigham Young University campus. "Pure Religion" is an celebration of American Christian worship traditons, and what it means to serve Jesus Christ and our neighbor. Featuring music from Sacred Harp, Latter-Day Saint, Catholic and African-American traditions, the wide array of music will be sure to entertain all who attend. The evening will also feature works by internationally-acclaimed, Provo-based composer, Andrew Maxfield. This will include the U.S. premiere of his setting of William Blake's "The Lamb," and a new work, "Pure Religion." Admission to the concert is free, with an encouraged donation of $10-20.
